Bathroom Faucet Brands (Chart Based on Popularity)

There are so many cool bathroom faucets these days. The question is which brand do you buy. We list out the top bathroom faucet brands based on popularity.

Have you ever wondered how life would have been without faucets to turn on hot or cold water? Bathroom faucets are so ubiquitous that we never think about the time when people had to make do without them.

Our bathroom faucets date back to the times of the ancient Romans and Greeks. Romans, in particular, was particularly fastidious about hygiene and it showed in their use of various public and private baths. In the 1,700 B.C., Romans used faucets to run 11 public baths, 856 private baths, and 1,352, fountains, and cisterns.

Initially, the faucet fixtures were antique and consist of two spouts, one for hot and one for cold water. That only changed when American investor Al Moen burned his hand under hot water and decided to create a single faucet knob in 1937. Initially, his designs were rejected, but he was finally able to design a functional, single-handled faucet between 1940 and 1945.

As innovation continued, Landis Perry designed the ball valve in the faucet in 1945, which helped regulate the water temperature. Later, Wolvering Brass designed ceramic disks for water control which were more effective than the rubber ones being used at that time.

Faucets have had many improvements, including the addition of a spray hose that can be pulled from the sink, the introduction of filters, and even electronic faucets that are much more hygienic than traditional faucets.

The innovations witnessed in bathroom faucets design have been non-stop, and it doesn’t seem like it will be stopping any time soon.

The following chart sets out the top 32 bathroom faucet brands based on monthly search volume (popularity).
